Triple Mix

Triple Mix

Triple mix is a mixture of screened topsoil, compost and black loam. Garden waste compost is used in this mixture which helps with growing and keeping soil loose. For a smoother textured soil for gardens please read our garden soil description.
Good growing soil for gardens. Remember to add mulch for reduced maintenance.

sandy loam

Sandy Loam

Sandy loam is a reddish brown screened sandy soil. Can be used under sod (lawn soil is our first choice) or used as an amendment to help loosen heavy soils.

black loam

Black Loam

Black loam is a very black screened soil with a peaty texture. Best used for top dressing for seeding lawns as it holds moisture and has very little weed growth. Also, it is often used as a top dressing for flower gardens to give a dark look if you have chosen not to use mulch. Of course, mulch is always your best choice for weed control.

gro turf

Gro-Turf®

Gro-Turf® is a screened rich blend of composted materials that is high in organic matter and beneficial soil microbes. Gro-Turf® has excellent moisture retention, which promotes water holding for overseeding. Gro-Turf® has been specifically designed to attack and break down thatch. This helps to eliminate heavy thatch build-up, which encourages root grow-in and nutrient transfer - keeping your lawn looking healthy and green!

GARDEN SOIL

Garden Soil

Garden soil is a mixture of screened topsoil, compost, black loam and sand. Garden soil is a smoother textured soil for gardens.

Good growing soil for gardens. Remember to add mulch for reduced maintenance.

We do offer a pre-bagged composted chicken, sheep and cow manure as well as a variety of pre-bagged soils and soil amendments for your gardening and container needs.

We now have a delivery service for these smaller items, a small van can delivery directly to your home for a very low delivery fee.
