We offer a full selection of crushed stone, round stone, decorative stone and pea gravel. All stone is sold by the cubic yard. We also have ½ yard loads which are available for pick up only.

Screenings

Limestone screenings is a popular levelling course on top of sub-bases, and is generally used as a levelling material under patio stones, pavers, brick and flagstone. Light grey in colour, it has great compact ability. This crushed gravel is screened to 1/4″ and smaller with fines. Some people also call it “Stone Dust”.

HPB® High Performance Bedding

HPB® High Performance Bedding (1mm – 8mm) is a spec base material that can replace the need for the bedding layer and the base layer of material under pavers, patio stones and flagstone. When used correctly, it provides excellent use of its drainage properties and is approximately 97% compacted without any compaction. Recommended for the experienced landscaper.

Clear stone is generally used for topping up gravel driveways and pathways. It is also useful for drainage, around weeping tiles, window wells and as a base for poured concrete.

This material is used as a road base or top coat before asphalt, sub-base for concrete sidewalks, concrete driveways, and patios. Granular Stone is great for packing since it is a mixture of various sized stone and stone dust. It is used under slabs, for driveways, or anything you need a good hard base.

1” River Stone

River rock is a round, smooth rock naturally shaped by erosion or weather as in a river or other water setting. Its colour varies from gray to light brown. River rock does not pack and can be used for drainage or decorative landscaping. Please note that its size is approximate, and each load from the quarry varies slightly in colour and size. Once washed of quarry dust, it makes for a cost-effective decorative touch to any landscape design. We recommend coming over to our yard to make sure that you are happy with the size and colour before purchase.

Granite Pea Gravel

Granite River Rock 1” to 3”

Granite river rock is a round, smooth rock naturally shaped by erosion or the weather, as in a river or other water setting. Its colour varies from black to gray, light brown and pink. Granite river rock does not pack and can be used for drainage or decorative landscaping. Please note that its size is approximate and each load from the quarry varies slightly in colour and size. Gabion Stone 4” to 6”

Gabion stone is also called Rip Rap. It is a large, clear stone approximately 4” to 6” in size. Used mostly in a cage for civil engineering, road building, and landscaping purposes, it can also be used without the cage for various landscaping ideas where a larger stone is required. This stone is good for erosion control.

A natural product made of crushed clay brick, red brick can be used as ground cover.
